This is the tittle of my latest Talk.
Venerability is courage, something we must to learn to adapt. We often limit ourselves because we afraid of judgments, but I want to encourage YOU to lead by just being! That’s the best way to make an impact. I am finally sharing my story in front of an audience. It’s scary but necessary.
We have been carrying baggages from generational traumas for centuries, YOU have to stop the madness, by being in-tune with yourself. Why should you allow anyone, yes including family make you feel guilty for wanting better?
It’s time to say no thanks to the baton that caused damages in your family tree.
My self development journey started since 2012, I can now say, I am living my life with clarity, I see obstacles as part of life. And no I will not overcome every challenges I face. Some challenge are there to teach me a lesson and make me wiser.
The process of my self development was painful and I suffered in silence for many years because I felt misunderstood. It’s extremely challenging when you are trying to have conversations with people that simply can’t understand you or meet you half way. It’s is imperative to find a community so you won’t fall back into the same rabbit whole. Toxicity can be addictive, You have to find people that speaks your language, reach out to support groups. I have found many facebook groups and yes I also speaking with my therapist.
There’s freedom in healing. Being able to set boundaries and not feel bad about it is a gift. I once heard someone says selfish people live longer. Self care is not selfish. Taking care of the mind, body and soul is necessary to live a purposeful life. When you are in-tune with yourself there are no weapons that is formed against you shall prosper. YOU are powerful, don’t ever give anyone the privilege to take it from YOU.
